Had a lovely, though quick, trip to Asheville this past Friday. The highlight of autumn thus far is seeing Andrew Bird and St. Vincent play live twice. I've listened to Bird's music while painting so many times and felt the need to reciprocate art for art by giving him the Painted Bunting as seen above. Felt like an interesting cycle to complete. Working on some new work for the 5th Kulture Klash....some interesting new stuff is emerging.
