Things Grow Here

Its been a great Spring so far with a new painting studio in an awesome space, Tivoli AND new gallery representation at Scoop Contemporary.

My next big venture is THINGS GROW HERE, my solo show May 18th-June 1st, 2010 at SCOOP at 57 1/2 Broad Street, downtown Charleston, SC. The artist reception will be Friday May 28th, 5-8 p.m. The show will be up MAY 18th - JUNE 1st.

Also please stay tuned for the Jazz Artists of Charleston's new website which will offer my paintings for sale from the See Jazz show (see prior blog posts). Part of the sales go to the JAC!

This Friday please come to the soiree/silent auction benefit for the Jazz Artists of Charleston.
$20 includes heavy hor d'oeurvres, wine bar, and SPECTACULAR ART to bid on.

I love being able to donate art for the great cause of supporting local musicians. Music is an essential part of any progressive cultural base of a city. The cultivation of the music scene goes hand in hand with the growing contemporary visual art scene here in Charleston.
